Edday joined Samidoh on stage during the Country Meets Mugithi event, which brought together several Kenyan entertainers for a night celebrating the blend of Kenyan and American musical styles.

The concert featured performers including Sir Elvis, Kareh B and Samidoh, with DJ Pierra Makenna also among the entertainers.

However, it was Edday’s unexpected appearance that became one of the memorable moments of the night.

Edday appeared dressed for the western-themed event, wearing a red bandana around her neck, a denim-inspired outfit, sunglasses and white boots.

She was also seen holding a Squier guitar while standing on stage as Samidoh performed.

The moment attracted attention because of the couple’s complicated and highly publicised history over the past several years.

Photographs from the event showed the two sharing the stage, giving fans an opportunity to see them together in a public setting.

Edday later shared a photo from the concert on her verified Facebook page, capturing the occasion and her western-inspired look.

Edday’s appearance alongside Samidoh comes after a major change in her life in 2023.

In May that year, she moved to the United States with her three children.

At the time, Edday publicly spoke about her decision, saying she did not want to raise her children in what she described as a toxic environment or in a polygamous household.

Her move came amid the highly publicised relationship between Samidoh and nominated Senator Karen Nyamu, which had generated considerable discussion online.

Since relocating to the US, Edday has established herself as a digital content creator and entrepreneur while continuing to share parts of her life with her social media followers.

The sight of Edday and Samidoh sharing a stage naturally attracted attention from fans who have followed their story over the years.

The Seattle concert was built around a combination of American country music and Kenya’s popular Mugithi sound.

The concept has gained attention among Kenyan communities living in the United States, providing a platform for musicians to connect with diaspora audiences while celebrating Kenyan music and culture.
