Kenyan rapper and entrepreneur King Kaka is mourning the death of Christine, a longtime househelp who had been part of his family for several years.

The celebrated musician shared the heartbreaking news with his followers, describing the post as difficult while remembering Christine for the years she spent serving his family.

King Kaka, whose real name is Kennedy Ombima, expressed his gratitude to Christine in an emotional farewell.

“Thank you for all you did for us, may peace find your family. Goodbye, Christine and Thankyou,” the rapper wrote in his tribute. He later shared another brief message in which he remembered Christine for her years of service.

“Rest in perfect peace, Christine. You served well,” King Kaka said.

Christine had reportedly worked for the Kaka family for many years and became a familiar and valued member of the household.

Her relationship with the family was not limited to her duties as a househelp. She was reportedly regarded as someone who had become part of the family’s wider circle over the years.

The late Christine had also been featured in moments involving King Kaka and his former wife, Nana Owiti. One such memorable moment was when King Kaka and Nana visited Christine’s rural home in Kendu Bay, highlighting the personal relationship that had developed between her and the family.

King Kaka’s latest tribute has touched many of his followers because of the appreciation he expressed for Christine and the apparent difficulty he experienced while announcing her death.

The rapper also accompanied his tribute with Amos and Josh’s song Baadaye, adding an emotional touch to his farewell message. However, details surrounding Christine’s death remain limited.

King Kaka did not publicly disclose the cause of her death in the messages he shared. He also did not provide detailed information about her age or funeral arrangements.

It is therefore important to avoid spreading unverified claims about what caused her death or other circumstances surrounding her passing.

The musician instead focused his public message on gratitude and remembrance, acknowledging Christine’s contribution to his family over the years.

Her death marks a painful moment for the Kaka family, particularly given the length of time she had been associated with them.

King Kaka concluded his tribute by asking for peace for Christine’s family as they deal with the loss.

The rapper’s message has served as a reminder that people who work within households can develop deep personal bonds with the families they serve, especially after many years together.

For King Kaka, Christine was not simply a longtime employee but someone whose presence had become part of his family’s life.

As he bid her farewell, the musician remembered her contribution with a simple but emotional message: she had served well.

May Christine rest in peace.
