Kenyan content creator Miss Trudy has reached a major personal milestone, after purchasing a two-bedroom apartment in Nairobi’s Westlands area, a property she revealed is worth approximately KSh 10 million.
The popular YouTuber shared the exciting news with her followers through an emotional house tour video, opening up about the sacrifices, patience and determination that went into making her dream a reality.
According to Trudy, the journey to homeownership was not an overnight success. She disclosed that she spent nearly two years working toward the goal, steadily saving money every month to raise the required deposits and complete the purchase.
In the video, the content creator documented the process from the moment she left her father’s home to inspect and finally move into the apartment. She described the achievement as one of the biggest victories of her life, especially considering the challenges she faced along the way.
Trudy also reflected on a painful chapter during the home’s construction period. She revealed that she had initially hoped to move into the apartment while pregnant, but sadly lost the baby before that dream could materialise.
The emotional revelation struck a chord with many of her followers.
She explained that despite the heartbreak and other personal struggles she was experiencing at the time, she remained focused on her goal and continued trusting that things would eventually work out.
The YouTuber thanked God for helping her navigate the difficult season and enabling her to complete the project.
The apartment itself features modern finishes and a spacious layout. During the tour, Trudy showcased a bright living area with large glass doors that open onto a balcony, offering plenty of natural light. The home also boasts an open-plan kitchen, which she said she intends to furnish and customise over time.
Looking ahead, the content creator invited professional interior designers to reach out and help transform the apartment into the stylish and elegant space she envisions.
One of the most touching moments from the video came during the official moving-in process when Trudy’s father led family members and friends in a prayer session.
Standing inside the new home, he prayed over the apartment and asked for blessings, protection and prosperity. The heartfelt prayer left several people emotional as they joined in.
Adding even more meaning to the purchase, Trudy revealed that she named the apartment “Amara” in honour of her child.
