Kenyan philanthropist and content creator Karangu Muraya has sent an emotional message to Risper, urging her to prioritise her health as she continues her treatment journey in India.
In a post shared on Friday morning, Karangu recalled how Risper travelled to India with prayers and hopes of receiving specialised medical care.
He encouraged her to temporarily switch off her phone and concentrate on her recovery rather than being distracted by ongoing discussions.
“We sent you to India with prayers and hope that you will come back with testimony, Risper,” Karangu wrote, expressing hope that her treatment would bring positive results.
He also appealed to Kenyans to forgive Risper, saying she had asked for forgiveness and deserved continued support as she seeks medical attention.
The philanthropist further mentioned KSh400,000, indicating that additional financial assistance was needed. He expressed hope that an update on the fundraising effort would be available soon.
Karangu also turned his attention to Jonathan Kimani, popularly associated with the name Kidney Hero, saying he hoped Kenyans would later help him access medication and return home after receiving the necessary treatment.
His message highlighted the role played by online communities in supporting people facing difficult medical circumstances.
Through social media appeals and fundraising initiatives, well-wishers have previously mobilised resources to help patients access specialised care.
Risper’s medical journey has attracted public attention in recent months.
According to reports, the teenager travelled to India on August 25, 2026, accompanied by her mother, after content creators and other well-wishers raised approximately KSh2.6 million to support her treatment for gastrointestinal stromal tumour (GIST).
Doctors had confirmed diagnosis and were awaiting mutation test results to guide decisions about her treatment.
