Triza Njeri, the first wife of Akorino gospel singer and philanthropist Karangu Muraya, has taken to social media to call out her husband and his second wife, Carol Kim, accusing them of violating a personal agreement and showing her disrespect.
In a fiery Facebook post, Triza revealed that she and Karangu had previously agreed that Carol would not visit their firstborn son, Emmanuel, who is currently in boarding school.
However, Triza claims that despite the agreement, Carol visited the child without her knowledge, leaving their son emotionally distressed.
“After we solved our issues, we agreed that Miraya’s (Carol) should not visit my child at school. But you ignored that and sent her there without informing me,” Triza lamented.
“My son got upset and said he no longer wants to remain in boarding school. You even said he should be punished. I’ve been quiet, but you’re now treating me like a fool.”
Triza’s strong words sparked a heated debate online, with some supporting her while others defended Carol and Karangu.
One follower commented, “It’s painful when agreements are ignored, especially when a child ends up suffering. Mutual respect between co-parents is crucial.”
Another user humorously remarked, “As a second wife, I’m just watching this drama unfold with my sanpaku eyes.”
This public fallout highlights the challenges of blended families, especially where children are involved.
Triza’s bold move to air her grievances openly underscores her frustration and desire to be respected not just as a mother, but also as a partner who expects boundaries and decisions concerning her children to be honored.
As the situation continues to unfold, many are watching closely to see how Karangu Muraya will respond to these serious accusations.
