Reports reaching the newsroom now confirm that several Members of Parliament have quietly left the country along with their families ahead of the much anticipated Occupy State House protest set for June twenty fifth.

The lawmakers are said to have taken flights to various international destinations in what observers interpret as a sign of growing fear and uncertainty within the political elite.

Sources within immigration services confirmed that at least eight lawmakers were cleared to travel over the weekend with accompanying family members. The timing of their departure has sparked public outrage and raised questions about their confidence in the security and stability of the country ahead of the protest.

Political analysts say the move reflects an increasing disconnect between elected leaders and the citizens they represent. Instead of standing in solidarity during a national moment of reckoning these leaders have chosen to distance themselves from the unfolding events.

Activists leading the Occupy State House movement say the departure of the lawmakers only strengthens their case that the current leadership lacks commitment to dialogue accountability and national service.

As tension builds across major towns the nation remains on edge watching how both the government and protesters will navigate the critical hours leading to June twenty fifth.
