National Treasury Cabinet Secretary John Mbadi has renewed his 2032 presidential ambitions, declaring that he believes he is the right person to take over leadership of the country after President William Ruto’s tenure. In a message shared on his official platforms, Mbadi stated that he must become Kenya’s sixth President and promised to continue building on Ruto’s legacy.
Mbadi’s remarks have sparked fresh political discussions as leaders begin positioning themselves ahead of the 2032 succession race. The Treasury CS argued that his close working relationship with President Ruto gives him a unique understanding of the government’s vision, policies and economic transformation agenda.
According to Mbadi, his experience in managing the country’s finances and working within the Kenya Kwanza administration places him in a strong position to lead Kenya in the future. He maintained that he understands the direction the country is taking and would not only continue the progress made but also improve it further.
