New details have emerged about the eviction of residents from President William Ruto’s farm in Taita Taveta County.

According to reports circulating on social media this hour, about 300 villages were affected when armed officers, some reportedly equipped with bulldozers, stormed the 1,000-acre farm.

Eyewitnesses say homes were flattened, leaving families, including young children, to spend nights in the cold.

The scenes have sparked shock and outrage among local residents, who described the eviction as sudden and forceful.

The eviction reportedly took place even after a court order had temporarily halted the process. It is not clear why the order was not respected, but sources suggest the officers were acting on instructions from senior authorities.

This is not an isolated incident. Similar evictions from farms owned by prominent politicians have been reported across the country in recent years, raising concerns about land rights and the treatment of local communities in the country.

Many villagers are reportedly struggling without shelter, food, or basic necessities, prompting immediate calls for relief efforts.

Authorities have yet to issue an official statement explaining the eviction that was done in the said county .

This just come in after Kenyans have been asking president William Ruto to solve land issues in the country and also asking him to stop cases of land disputes as innocent people have been forced to be homeless in the country.

Let us hope that the government will be responsible and help the affected families.
