National Assembly Majority Leader Kimani Ichungwah stepped away from the political spotlight on Sunday, February 1, to attend a service at PCEA Kirathimo Church in Thogoto, Kikuyu Ward, this time accompanied by his wife, Alice Nyokabi.
The appearance, described by Ichungwah as a moment of fellowship and gratitude, offered congregants a glimpse into the personal side of the legislator. He introduced his wife to the church community, and the couple’s warm smiles and visible unity added a heartfelt touch to the gathering.
Nyokabi, who generally keeps a low profile, has occasionally joined her husband at community and church events, including the PCEA Women’s Guild centennial celebrations. Her presence at Kirathimo underscored the supportive role she plays behind the scenes, complementing Ichungwah’s public responsibilities.
Addressing the congregation, Ichungwah reflected on the importance of faith in guiding both personal and public life. Dressed smartly in a blazer, he spoke while his wife stood elegantly beside him, symbolizing the strength of partnership in leadership.
Church members welcomed the couple warmly, praising their humility and openness. For many, the visit was not just about politics but about shared values of family, faith, and community.
