Carolyne Demathew, the widow of the late renowned Mugithi crooner John Demathew, has opened up about her life and disclosed to the whole world that she is currently in a new relationship.
The sassy queen, who is also a businesswoman, disclosed the big news via a post that she made in her Facebook account on Thursday, the 16th of April, where she could not hide how happy she was after getting a new man.
“Love is on my side again ❤️” she said.
The aforementioned post by Carolyne Demathew however elicited massive mixed reactions from netizens.
While some congratulated her for being in a relationship, others were left wondering about the identity of the new man as shown in the screenshots below.
It should be noted that Carolyne Demathew has gotten into a relationship again at a time when it is now almost 7 years since her husband John Demathew passed away.
This is because the Benga musician unfortunately passed away on the 18th of August, 2019.
According to reports, John Demathew died tragically via a road accident that happened along the Thika – Murang’a Road, as he was coming from a fundraiser.
John Demathew was then rushed to the Thika Nursing home for treatment, but unfortunately he did not make it.
Before John Demathew died however he had been married to Carolyne Demathew for less than a year, because he paid for her dowry in February that year.
