Nelius Mukami

Nelius Mukami, the wife of Government Spokesperson Isaac Mwaura, has opened up about their marriage and revealed that things have not been all rosy for her recently.

The beauty queen, who is also a maternal health advocate, has revealed that she is no longer getting what she expected to get when she said “I do” to him many years ago.

Nelius Mukami actually feels like their romantic relationship has now transitioned from being a safe haven, to now being controlling and very restrictive.

The mother of one disclosed this in a post that she made on her Instagram stories on Saturday morning, where she further hinted that she was now on the path to reclaim her self-worth, because she feels like a relationship should not be that way.

“How tragic that love, once a place of refuge, can slowly become a cage. That the very hands which promised to protect us can become the hands that clip our wings.

Yet no soul was created to live beneath another’s shadow, and no heart was meant to spend its lifetime seeking permission to beat.

No soul belongs to another, and no human hand can rewrite what God has already written.

For love, in its purest form, should never demand the death of another person’s freedom” she said.

The pain
Nelius Mukami also made another post in which she shared a photo of herself holding Allie Michelle’s book called The Words Left Unspoken.

She then accompanied the photo with a caption of her revealing that what was written literally mirrored how her life is right now.

“The way @alliemichelle1 writes speaks to my soul…its as if she wrote every single poem for me” Nelius Mukami said.

According to reports, the book is a bold collection of poetry that have themes centred on heartbreak, emotional healing and self-discovery.
