Celebrated gospel singer and television host Hopekid, has been thrown into mourning following the death of his beloved father.
The Testimony hitmaker shared the heartbreaking news with his fans through his Instagram Stories, prompting an outpouring of love and condolences from the entertainment industry and his followers.
Hopekid, who recently joined KBC TV as a co-host of The Backyard Gospel Show, announced the loss by posting an image of a black rose accompanied by a brief but emotional message.
“Dear Dad… till we meet again. Rest 12/21,” he wrote, choosing to keep details surrounding his father’s passing private. The singer did not disclose the cause of death.
The news deeply touched fans and fellow celebrities, many of whom took to social media to comfort the grieving artist.
Responding to the messages of support, Hopekid expressed gratitude, saying, “Your kind words mean everything. Much appreciated.”
