A meeting convened by Pres William Ruto in State House a few hours ago turned hot when Kakamega Senator Boniface Khalwale, one of the MPs who ensured that the impeachment of former DP Rigathi Gachagua was a success verbally clashed with the Head of State.
According to the reports by the Standard on March 28, hell broke loose when Khalwale sought assurance from William Ruto that the seat of Moses Wetangula just like Gachagua will not be handed over to the ODM Party.

But it is reported that William Ruto, angered by Khalwale fired back and asked him to tone down and that even if he (Khalwale) is older than Ruto, the latter remains to be the Head of State.
Another source who attended the meeting intimated that the President urged the delegation to ignore naysayers as he intended to go on sustaining their political pact.
Alluding to statements made across various social media platform indicating that Wetangula’s time was nigh, he urged them to “ignore social media talk.”
