President William Ruto today held a political rally in Taita Taveta County where he asked residents whether they would support him second term in the 2027 general election.

The crowd responded with loud chants of two term showing strong support and excitement during the event.

The President thanked the residents for their support and said his government is committed to delivering development projects across the country. He promised better roads clean water jobs and support for farmers and small businesses.

The rally attracted many residents who gathered to hear the President speak. Leaders present urged unity and focus on development instead of political differences.

Ruto said he will continue working closely with county leaders to ensure services reach the people and promised that no region will be left behind.

Today’s rally was part of his ongoing tour of the coastal region aimed at strengthening support ahead of the next election. Supporters praised his development agenda and pledged to stand with him.

Ruto urged residents to remain united and avoid divisive politics saying his administration is focused on economic transformation improving livelihoods and ensuring fair distribution of resources across all counties in Kenya.

He said the government will continue rolling out projects in roads electricity agriculture and healthcare adding that the success of the country depends on cooperation between national and county governments. He asked residents to judge him based on delivery of promises rather than politics alone.
