Retired President Uhuru Kenyatta’s former Aide-de-Camp, Brigadier Timothy Stelu Lekoolol, on Thursday made a rare public appearance during a function at the National Defence University- Kenya.
Clad in a suit and tie, the towering Brigadier Lekoolol was present when the National Defence University- Kenya officially launched its Volume 2, Issue 2 of its national security journal at the institution’s main campus, Lanet.
It was a rare public appearance for the naval officer, who served Uhuru for four years before crossing over to serve President William Ruto fof one month. He was succeeded as an ADC by Kenya Army’s Colonel Fabian Lengusuranga, who is from.the Special Operations Brigade.
In 2022, just months before Uhuru’s exit from power, he was promoted to the senior rank of Brigadier, making him the first one- star General to serve as an ADC.

Besides that, Brigadier Lekoolol who succeeded the now Brigadier Victor Mburu, made history as the first ever officer from the Kenya Navy to serve as an ADC.
