Muthoni Baby top

Kameme FM presenter Muthoni Babytop has cut off her signature dreadlocks after 18 years, unveiling a fresh look as she stepped out in a wig for the first time.

The radio presenter announced the dramatic hair transformation in a social media post, joking that her dreadlocks had grown old enough to attend university before she finally decided to part ways with them.

“My dreadlocks have reached a legal age! So I sent them to campus. After 18 years, tumeagana,” she shared.

The presenter appeared to embrace the transformation and described it as the beginning of a fresh chapter in her life, welcoming the new month with a message of optimism.

“🤣!!!! But hello to a new month, a new chapter, a new me 👌😘, SAME GOD! 🙏…” she wrote.

Muthoni accompanied the announcement with photographs taken outside the door of her home, where she appeared smartly dressed in a black trouser suit while showing off the dreadlocks she had just cut off.

Holding the locks in her hands, she also flaunted her new brown human-hair wig, which gave her a noticeably different appearance from the signature hairstyle her fans had known for nearly two decades.

The presenter appeared to embrace the transformation as she posed confidently for the photographs, offering her followers a first glimpse of her new look.

About an hour later, Muthoni took the transformation to her workplace, Kameme FM, where she went live while wearing the same wig.

Her appearance during the live broadcast caught the attention of her radio fans, who shared reactions to the unexpected change and commended her new hairstyle.
