Murugi shared that growing up, her mother often noticed a clear difference between her and her siblings when it came to confidence and asking for opportunities.
“She said out of her four kids, I was the one who was most unafraid of asking for something. So even when I thought the answer might be no, even when other people were like, I don’t know if we should ask her, me, I was always the one who just went and asked,” she said.
The content creator explained that hearing that observation from her mother years later helped her understand why confidence and ambition have always come naturally to her.
“I have never, whenever people talk about imposter syndrome, it’s something that I can’t really relate to because I don’t think I’ve ever felt imposter syndrome. I always feel like I deserve to be in the room,” Murugi stated.
According to her, that internal confidence has heavily influenced how she views her current lifestyle, career success, financial opportunities, and personal growth.
Rather than seeing success as something extraordinary or unattainable, Murugi explained that her achievements feel completely aligned with how she naturally sees herself and what she believes she deserves.
The creator said that when she reflects on the campaigns, business opportunities, lifestyle, and financial freedom she has built over time, everything feels normal because she has always believed those outcomes were possible for her.
Murugi revealed that her husband often jokes about how casually she handles money, frequently telling her that she spends freely without attaching too much fear or emotional weight to finances.
“My husband refers to it as I treat money like trash. He’s always like, you treat money like trash, but it just keeps coming back,” she revealed.
She explained that unlike people who develop scarcity-driven habits around finances, she has always believed that money and opportunities naturally replenish themselves.
Murugi added that she has never believed she has reached the limit of what financial success is available to her.
“I never feel like I have ever tapped out or even scratched the surface of all the money and all the wealth and all the abundance that there is to get in this world,” she said.
