Nduta

Prophetess Lucy Nduta, the mother of Pastor Victor Kanyari, has shared a deeply emotional account of the grief she has endured following the tragic death of her daughter, Starlet Wahu.

Speaking candidly during a recent interview, the grieving mother recalled the heartbreaking moments that followed the loss, revealing that the pain was so overwhelming she prayed to God for strength to keep living.

“Niliambia Mungu asikubali nife, anipee nguvu,” she said, explaining that her faith became her greatest source of comfort as she struggled to come to terms with the devastating tragedy.

Starlet Wahu was found murdered in an Airbnb apartment in Nairobi, a shocking incident that sparked nationwide outrage and renewed calls for justice.

Her death left family members, friends and supporters in mourning, with many expressing sympathy and demanding accountability.

Prophetess Nduta revealed that she had invested heavily in her daughter’s upbringing and future, making the loss even more difficult to accept.

She described Starlet as a young woman with dreams and ambitions that were abruptly cut short, leaving a void that can never be filled.

Despite the immense sorrow, the prophetess said she has gradually found the strength to continue with life through prayer, faith and support from loved ones.

She acknowledged that grief does not disappear overnight but noted that trusting God has helped her face each day with renewed courage.

Her emotional testimony has resonated with many Kenyans who have experienced the pain of losing loved ones.

It also serves as a reminder of the lasting emotional scars left by violent crime and the importance of offering compassion and support to bereaved families as they navigate the difficult journey of healing.
