Nairobi – Asset financing company MOGO Ltd has announced an auction of 28 vehicles, giving Kenyans an opportunity to purchase cars at competitive prices.

The vehicles, located across various yards in Nairobi, Mombasa, Kisumu, and other towns, include models such as Mazda Demios, Toyota Passos, Mazda CX-5, and Toyota Fielders.

Prospective bidders are advised to inspect the vehicles at the designated yards before submitting their bids. MOGO emphasized that all sales are on an as-is, where-is basis.

The company outlined the bidding procedure in a notice published in The Standard newspaper on Wednesday, October 8. Interested buyers are required to submit their bids via email to cars.sales@mogo.co.ke, including a mobile contact number.

Among the vehicles on auction is a Toyota Passo 2007 from the Nairobi yard, priced at KSh 124,000, making it the cheapest option.

Other notable vehicles include a Mazda CX-5 2015 for KSh 1.445 million and a Mazda Atenza 2015 for KSh 1.0625 million, both located in Nairobi.

The auction also features popular models such as Toyota Fielder, VW Polo, Mercedes C200, Ford Ranger, and BMW 118, catering to a variety of buyer preferences and budgets.

MOGO Ltd encourages bidders to contact the company directly for directions to the car yards or to clarify any details about the vehicles.

This auction follows MOGO’s previous sale of 33 motorcycles and tuk-tuks, which were offered at starting bids from KSh 30,000, with the highest priced at KSh 60,000.

According to the company, the auction aims to provide affordable options for Kenyans while helping MOGO recover vehicles financed through its asset finance programs.

Japhet Ruto, who reports on business and current affairs for TUKO.co.ke, highlighted that these auctions are a way for citizens to access quality vehicles without paying premium prices.

Bidders are advised to act fast and ensure all documentation is in order, as the auction operates on a first-come, first-served basis once the highest bid is accepted.
