In a fresh twist, information has surfaced indicating that the deceased lawyer Kyalo Mbobu was entangled in numerous legal disputes and overwhelming debts.

Sources familiar with the matter revealed a series of Mbobu’s outstanding loans, that left him struggling with financial obligations despite his prominent career.

According to reliable reports, details have now emerged on the millions of money that a Somali Shylock demanded from him, just days before his death.

Kyalo’s difficulties intensified when a Somali moneylender, who had provided him with Ksh 17 million for a ranch venture, demanded full repayment totaling Ksh 52 million.

Lawyer Mbobu until his demise, was facing a battle of the long chain of unpaid loans under his name, that has so far been exposed.

Mbobu was killed on Tuesday, September 9, after unidentified individuals followed him and shot him while he was on his way home along Magadi Road in Nairobi.
