A terrible accident happened in South Sudan and sadly, it resulted in the deaths of six people.

The accident occurred when a Land Cruiser, driven by a Kenyan man, collided with a motorbike carrying three women.

The collision was so severe that it led to the deaths of all three women and the motorbike rider.

The Kenyan driver and another person, believed to be from Uganda, were also killed, but not by the accident itself.

Instead, an angry mob at the scene turned violent and beat them to death.

Local police say that both vehicles were speeding before the collision, which happened on a Sunday evening.

It’s believed that the two foreigners worked for a telecommunications company. The bodies of the victims were taken to the mortuary.

Officials in Kapoeta South County, where the accident occurred, expressed their condolences.

They pointed out that sometimes foreign drivers might not be familiar with local traffic laws, which could contribute to accidents like this one.

Despite some reports claiming that the mob killed the two foreigners, Juma Justin, the Executive Director of Kapoeta South County, clarified that they died as a result of the accident itself.

He explained that foreign drivers might not always follow the correct driving directions, which could lead to tragic accidents like this one.

Longoria Jeff, a legislator from the South Sudan Opposition Alliance, cautioned against speeding and condemned the act of mob justice. He urged people not to take the law into their own hands.
