Kenya Navy Officers were deployed in Uasin-Gishu in search of the body of a 40-year-old school driver who drowned at Ngeria Dam in the Megun, Kiambaa area.
The deceased who has been identified as identified as Francis Kemboi, worked as driver at Ngeria West Academy, he visited the dam with his three children to clean his van after which reportedly decided to take a swim while instructing his children to wait inside the vehicle.
The deceased took a long time to resurface forcing his children to alert the residents who in turn alerted the police who immediately rushed to the scene of the incident.
After several attempts to recover the body of the deceased failed, the government dispatched the Kenya Navy Soldiers to at to attempt to recover the body of the deceased.
His Death caught the attention of Kenyans who took to their different social media platforms to send their condolences to his family.
Those who knew him described the incident as tragic adding. His uncle who also visited the scene of the incident performed a ritual in attempts to ‘convince’ him to show up.

Jj Kerich…It’s truly unfortunate that this dam hasn’t been equipped with an electric fence to prevent such accidents. Let’s hope for a positive resolution and pray that everything works out for the best.
