A four-year-old girl has narrated what she saw moments before her mother passed away in the river.
As per the latest updates shared by a well-known source this hour and currently circulating on social media, it has been revealed that the girl in Migori County had accompanied her mother to the river to bathe when she saw a cat staring at her.
Immediately, the girl ran away, leaving her mother in the river.
Unfortunately, her mother passed away at the same spot where she had seen the said cat. It is believed that the woman, who has been identified as Brenda Awour, drowned as investigations continue to determine what really happened.
A preliminary report indicates that the deceased had gone to a local church and revealed that she had mental issues and was tired of life before she died.
The deceased’s body has been taken to the morgue, and investigations have started to determine what really happened.
This comes after similar cases of Kenyans struggling with mental challenges have been reported in the country.
