Charlene Ruto has given fans a glimpse of her beautiful bridal shower as she prepares to marry her Tanzanian fiancé, Isaya Yunge, with friends and family joining her to celebrate the special occasion.
The daughter of President William Ruto shared photographs from the celebration on Tuesday, November 3, 2026, showing an elegant event decorated in white and purple.
Charlene stood out in a white gown, while her guests, including her sister Stephanie, wore pink outfits. The venue featured carefully arranged seats, flowers and decorative lights that created a warm atmosphere as the celebrations continued into the evening.
One of the highlights was a specially decorated cake carrying messages such as “Miss Babe to Mrs. Babe” and “Hey Mrs. Yunge”, giving guests a glimpse of the exciting changes ahead for the bride-to-be.
A welcome banner bearing the words “Welcome to Charlene’s Bridal Shower” was also displayed at the entrance.
Charlene Shares Emotional Message to Friends
Beyond the decorations and celebrations, Charlene took time to appreciate the women who have supported her throughout different stages of her life.
In a message accompanying the photographs, she expressed gratitude to her friends for coming together to celebrate her as she prepares to begin married life.
She also highlighted the importance of her Christian faith, describing Christ as the foundation that will guide her next chapter.
Charlene thanked her friends, whom she affectionately referred to as her “dadas” and girls, for their love, laughter and continued support.
The photographs also attracted attention from followers who have been keeping up with developments in her relationship.
Bridal Shower Comes After Traditional Koito Ceremony
The celebration comes nearly three months after Charlene and Isaya held their traditional Kalenjin engagement ceremony, popularly known as Koito.
The ceremony took place on August 8, 2026, at President Ruto’s Intonna Heritage Farm in Kilgoris, Narok County.
The event brought together relatives, friends and prominent guests from Kenya and Tanzania, including First Lady Rachel Ruto and Deputy President Kithure Kindiki.
Koito is an important Kalenjin tradition that allows two families to formalize a marriage arrangement and discuss customary requirements, including bride wealth.
Isaya Yunge is a Tanzanian technology entrepreneur and founder of SomaApps Technologies.
With the bridal shower now celebrated, attention is turning to the couple’s white wedding, although an official date has not been publicly announced.
