Residents of Budalang’i in Busia County were left in shock after a dramatic scene unfolded when a woman was caught physically disciplining her husband for allegedly ignoring her repeated warnings to stop drinking local alcohol.
The incident, which took place at a popular drinking den in the area, drew the attention of curious onlookers who were forced to intervene to stop the escalating fight.
According to witnesses, the woman, who has been frustrated by her husband’s drinking habits, decided to take matters into her own hands after he sold household items to fund his drinking sprees.
She reportedly followed him to the local brew den, where she found him completely drunk and surrounded by friends.
Out of anger, she confronted him before unleashing a flurry of blows that left the man sprawling on the ground as the crowd watched in disbelief.
Neighbors revealed that the couple had been having frequent domestic disputes over the husband’s alcoholism.
Despite numerous warnings, he continued neglecting his family responsibilities, often returning home late and empty-handed.
The wife is said to have warned him several times, pleading with him to stop wasting money on alcohol and to focus on providing for the family.
