The Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC) has announced December 3, 2026, as the date for its 95th graduation ceremony, giving graduands several weeks to complete the required preparations ahead of the big day.
The ceremony will take place at Moi International Sports Centre, Kasarani, Nairobi, starting at 8:00 AM.
KMTC has asked students to check the provisional graduation list on its website and confirm that their names are correctly spelt and arranged.
The details must match those in the college’s ERP system, admission letters and national identity cards.
Graduands who notice errors have until Thursday, November 12, at 12:00 PM to submit correction requests through the designated online link.
The college has clarified that students can only correct the spelling or order of names already on the list.
Adding new names or removing existing ones will not be allowed. Those who submit correction requests after the deadline will pay a Ksh 5,000 penalty.
KMTC has also directed graduands to pay their graduation fees through the Jiunge app on or before November 13, 2026.
Cash payments will not be accepted, and students who fail to clear their fees risk missing the ceremony.
Gown collection will take place between November 16 and November 27. Students must present proof of fee clearance, a campus clearance form, the graduation fee payment receipt and their original national identity cards before receiving their gowns.
All graduands are required to attend the mandatory rehearsal scheduled for Wednesday, December 2, at the stadium, a day before the main ceremony.
After graduation, students will be expected to return their gowns by 4:00 PM on Wednesday, December 16. Late returns will attract a penalty of Ksh 100 per day.
Meanwhile, certificate collection will begin on Monday, December 7, and end on Wednesday, December 16.
The certificates will be issued on weekdays between 9:00 AM and 4:00 PM at KMTC Headquarters in Nairobi.
