Peter Kinyita’s wife has made a heartfelt appeal for privacy and respect as her family continues to mourn the heartbreaking loss of their son.
In her statement, she said she is not active on social media and has never shared any details about her family life on Facebook.
She expressed deep distress over the ongoing online conversations involving her son and family, saying the discussions have only added to their pain during this difficult period.
“I respectfully ask everyone to stop talking about us and to give my family space as we go through this painful time of mourning our son,” she said.
She also clarified that the individuals commenting about her on Facebook are unknown to her, stressing that she has never met or interacted with them in any way.
According to her, much of what is being shared online is coming from people who have no personal connection to the family.
Addressing circulating claims that have linked Baby Top, also known as Wakirumba, to the incident, she firmly dismissed the allegations.
She explained that she was the first person to see her son in the swimming pool, while the child’s father was the one who pulled him out in a desperate attempt to save him.
She described the experience as extremely painful and emotionally overwhelming, noting that the family is still struggling to come to terms with the loss.
The grieving mother emphasized that this is a deeply painful moment for the entire family and urged the public to refrain from speculation and online discussions that may further harm their healing process.
The family has requested privacy, understanding, and respect as they navigate their grief, asking that they be allowed the space to mourn their son in peace.
