Oburu Odinga

Oburu Oginga has spoken out in a very direct way about the pressure being put on Opiyo Wandayi to resign. He said it is not right for their own people to be the first ones making noise and shouting for Wandayi to leave his seat.

According to him, this kind of behavior makes them look divided and not serious.Oburu said in politics, it is normal for leaders to disagree, but that does not mean they should fight each other in public.

He explained that when leaders have issues, they should sit down, talk like adults, and find a solution quietly. Going outside and attacking one of their own only creates more problems and makes things worse.

He also warned that when their people start fighting from inside, their opponents will be very happy. Those outside will use that chance to weaken them and gain power.

Oburu said this is not the time to fight each other because the country is already facing many problems that need leaders to work together.

Oburu made it clear that Wandayi should be respected and given time to do his job. He said no leader is perfect, and mistakes can happen, but the right way to deal with mistakes is through talks, not pressure and insults.

He insisted that pushing someone to resign quickly without proper talks is not fair and can destroy trust among leaders. He also told supporters to calm down and stop adding more fire to the situation.

He said rushing into decisions because of anger can lead to regret later. Leaders, according to him, must show maturity and unity so that people can continue trusting them.

Oburu repeated that unity is very important. He said they must protect each other, stand together, and solve their problems in a peaceful way instead of fighting in public and embarrassing themselves.
