President Ruto explosively accused his former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua of murdering young lady after impregnating her, before issuing a notice.
Speaking today at a political rally in Western region, Ruto began by describing Gachagua as a tribal leader who is after misleading Kenyans. He went ahead to accuse Rigathi Gachagua of manipulating the will of his late brother so he can disinherit the widow and orphans. He then explosively accused Rigathi Gachagua of murdering a young lady after impregnating her.
“Mtu ambaye ameenda akatia mimba mtoto mwenye ako umri ya mtoto yake alafu akachukua huyo mtoto akamuua anatuambia Nini. Huyo ni mtu wa kuongoza mahali popote?” Ruto said.
According to the President, Gachagua has no moral authority to lecture them on anything or to lead Kenyans or any community because of the inhumane things that he accused him of commiting.
After making the accusations, Ruto issued a notice making it clear that such a person will not be allowed to mislead Kenyans.
“I am giving notice, you cannot mislead this nation. A character who has no morals, who has gone to manipulate the will of his brother to disenfranchise, disinherit widows and orphans and he wants to give us lectures about stealing. You cold blooded thief stealing from your own brother, orphans, widows you want to give us a lecture?” Ruto said.
Ruto also hinted at Rigathi Gachagua’s arrest by saying that such a character belongs to jail, reiterating that they will not allow him to mislead the nation.
“We will not allow you to mislead any Community or anybody in Kenya. You are not going to be anything in this nation. You belong to the rot in jail” Ruto said.
The grave accusations have now ignited a public discourse in the country considering that it came from the mouth of a person of President Ruto’s stature.
