Ruto’s daughter Stephanie Ruto made a rare public appearance yesterday on Sunday after gracing a fundraiser in aid of the renovation of St. Mary’s Rehabilitation Centre in Mbiuni.
The amount that she delivered to the Rehabilitation Centre has been revealed and according to a video shared today, Stephanie said that her father Ruto had sent her with the donation. Stephanie delivered Ksh 3 million shillings which she revealed was from her Dad and her family. She also disclosed that her father chose to send her because she is a Children’s Officer by profession.
“When my dad told me that there was a fundraiser happening in Mbiuni, he chose to tell me because actually by profession I am Children’s Officer so I work a lot with children.” Stephanie Ruto said.
The first daughter known to keep a low profile away from the limelight, also said that she is no Politician. Hence she delivered a short speech and the donation that her dad sent her.
“As has been said, am not a politician, I don’t talk much and am happy to see the children and we will do whatever we can to finance and support, all the help that you need and everything that you need. Yeah that’s all I can say. God bless all of you and as our area MP has said, maybe I can bring my contribution now.” She said.
She concluded her speech by revealing that she had been sent Ksh 3 million shillings to contribute at the Fundraiser.
“This is a contribution from my father and my family not just as him as President but also because he is a family man and we love children, children are our future, Thank you so much. This is 3 million” Stephanie said attracting cheers.
