Uganda is mourning the sudden and painful loss of Jauharah Kamyuuka, a rising female musician and a devoted supporter of National Unity Platform (NUP) leader Robert Kyagulanyi, popularly known as Bobi Wine.

Jauharah tragically died while giving birth at Mulago National Referral Hospital, leaving her family, friends, fans, and the political community in deep shock and sorrow.

According to information shared by close family members, Jauharah was admitted to Mulago Hospital after experiencing complications during labor.

Doctors and nurses reportedly made efforts to save her life, but sadly, she did not survive the childbirth process.

Her death has once again raised serious concerns about maternal health care in the country, especially in public hospitals where many women seek treatment.

Jauharah Kamyuuka was widely known not only for her growing music career but also for her strong political stand.

She was a diehard supporter of Bobi Wine and the National Unity Platform and often expressed her support through music, public appearances, and social media.

Many NUP supporters described her as fearless, outspoken, and deeply committed to the struggle for change in Uganda.

As a musician, Jauharah had begun to make a name for herself with songs that touched on real-life issues affecting young people, women, and marginalized communities.

Her music reflected her personal experiences and hopes for a better future, earning her admiration from fans across the country.

Fellow artists have described her as talented, humble, and full of potential, with a promising career ahead of her.

News of her death spread quickly on social media, where emotional messages of condolence flooded in from supporters of Bobi Wine, fellow musicians, activists, and ordinary Ugandans.

Many expressed anger and frustration, questioning why a young woman full of life and dreams had to die while giving birth.

Some have called on authorities to investigate the circumstances surrounding her death and to improve services in maternity wards.

The family has confirmed that Jauharah Kamyuuka will be laid to rest in Kibibi, Butambala District.

Burial arrangements are currently underway, and large numbers of people are expected to attend to pay their final respects.

NUP supporters are also expected to turn up in big numbers to honor a woman they say stood firmly with their cause until her last days.
