Tanzanian social media star Chief Godlove has shocked fans with a bold pledge: he wants to make Kenya his permanent home after soaking up life in an upscale Nairobi suburb.
In a video he shared on TikTok on Monday, Godlove gave viewers a look inside his luxury apartment in Kileleshwa, Nairobi. The unit has multiple rooms, a private office and modern tech such as lights that switch on automatically when you walk in features he says are rare back home in Tanzania.
“This place makes me think I might not leave,” he tells followers, describing the Kenyan lifestyle as inspiring and motivating. The influencer says he posted the tour to motivate fans to aim high, telling detractors to skip the negativity and focus on what hard work can achieve.
Godlove also thanked Nairobi residents for the warm welcome he’s received, saying the affection from locals has played a big role in his decision to consider long-term relocation. He didn’t set a firm date for the move, but his language leaves little doubt that Kenya is firmly on his radar.
The influencer used the same video to address swirling online rumors about his vehicles being auctioned, promising a follow-up video to clear up misunderstandings. He insists many of his supporters still do not grasp what really happened and wants to set the record straight.
Godlove has been in Kenya in recent weeks for social events and content projects. His flamboyant persona and generous gestures such as promising cash gifts at high-profile events have kept him in entertainment headlines.
