Friday, the 2nd of January, was indeed a special day for legendary Kenyan gospel musician-cum-politician Roy Smith Mwatia alias Rufftone.
This is because on the day, his wife Susan Njoki alias Krystal, who is also a former Gospel musician, officially turned a year older.
Like any other loving husband out there who is usually proud of the milestones of his wife, Rufftone was also proud of Krystal’s birthday and therefore he celebrated her in style.
Taking to his instagram account, the Mwikhulu hit maker shared a photo of his gorgeous wife in a car, and then he accompanied it with a heartwarming message of him asking his fans to join him in celebrating her birthday.
“Help me wish my kababy ❤️ a happy 2026” he said.
Rufftone’s family
As Krystal turns a year older, it should be noted that she has been married to Rufftone for over a decade now.
The lovebirds actually did their white wedding in 2014, just two years after they did their traditional wedding ceremony in 2012.
According to reports however, Rufftone and Krystal for the first time in 2005, when she had gone for try outs at his Lampstand Record Label.
Being impressed by Krystal’s beauty, Rufftone decided to make a move on her and as they say the rest is history.
As we speak, the lovebirds are raising two kids together – a son and a daughter.
