Uhuru Kenyatta, the fourth President of Kenya, has made history by becoming the only Kenyan president to hold two Guinness World Records entries.

The first record was set in 2013 when he was sworn in as the youngest president ever at the age of 51, surpassing notable leaders like Mwai Kibaki, William Ruto, Daniel arap Moi, and Jomo Kenyatta.

Kenyatta’s second record came in 2017 when he signed into law environmental protection regulations that enforced a ban on single-use plastic bags, imposing severe penalties on those who violated the directive.

This move earned him praise globally and recognition from the Guinness World Records for enforcing the strictest regulations among world leaders, effectively eradicating plastic bags in the country.

The former president’s achievements have been widely recognized, and he remains a notable figure in Kenyan history.

His legacy includes major development projects and significant environmental efforts, cementing his place as a leader who made a lasting impact on the country.

Kenyatta’s records serve as a testament to his remarkable presidency and his commitment to creating a better Kenya.

His efforts to protect the environment and promote sustainable practices have inspired many, and his place in the Guinness World Records is a well-deserved recognition of his achievements.
