A man by the name of Githuki from Nyandarua has narrated how he used to work as a mortuary attendant, his job was to do make ups which was a well paying job.
According to he started working in the mortuary when he was in form three he had a friend who was working as a mortuary attendant and when he visited him on Saturday and Sunday he could help him clean the bodies.
After completing his studies he started working on a construction site,he later lost his job and his friend asked him to apply for a job as a mortuary attendant.since he already had experience he went for an interview he passed and started working but he says it was not easy since he could sometimes dream and scream at night.
He says that making the clients look beautiful by applying them make ups was a very well paying job as he could bank 40 thousands in a month.
He says that he didn’t tell anyone on his family that he was working in a mortuary and had lied he was selling clothes in a boutique, and one day his one of his family members was going to view the body of her friend and on that day he was on duty.
She could not believe it and she ran away screaming,when he came back home from work his family condemned it and he had to stop the job.
He says that he decided to go back to college with the little money he had saved and he studied mass communication, after years of looking for a job he found one in Coro FM where he is working.He was later blessed with a wife and are blessed with two kids.
