Harambee stars have been unstoppable in the group stage involving Angola, Morocco, DR Congo, Zambia and Kenya. Harambee stars host the CHAN in collaboration with Uganda and Tanzania.
Kenya won their first match against Congo with Gor Mahia star, Austine Odhiambo finding the back of the net just before the first half break. They then drew against Angola where Kenya’s resilient defenders suffered to earn a point. They then played Morocco after 3 days where 10 men Kenya secured the win after Ryan Ogam fired them ahead few minutes before half time.Kenya now lead group A table with 7 points, followed by Angola at 4 points. Congo and Morocco sit at 3 points.Kenya has to win or draw their last game against Zambia to seal a spot in quarter-finals. If Kenya loses against Zambia then DR Congo draws with Morocco in their game at hand and each of them win their last match, DR Congo and Morocco will qualify with superior goal difference.
