Gachags

A report released today disclosed the directions a senior female police officer issued to her colleagues when former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua and his supporters arrived at Ol Kalou Stadium in Nyandarua County for the requiem service of the late MP David Kiaraho. The report indicates that tension escalated soon after Gachagua’s arrival when some of his allies attempted to gain entry to the main dais, which had been reserved for officially recognised state officials.

This move resulted in a brief confrontation with security personnel assigned to maintain order at the venue.

Officers moved swiftly to contain the situation and block unauthorised individuals from accessing the restricted section.

In the midst of the disturbance, Gachagua was briefly delayed as security teams worked to restore order.During the standoff, a senior policewoman dressed in black was heard giving clear and firm orders to fellow officers.

She instructed them to allow Gachagua to proceed to the dais while preventing the rest of his entourage from advancing.

After the directive was enforced, officers opened a passage for Gachagua, enabling him to reach his designated seat without further incident.

His arrival at the dais attracted a warm reception from parts of the crowd, a reaction that reportedly surprised some leaders allied to President William Ruto.
