Wandeto F

An emotional scene unfolded at a local morgue after the family of social media personality Wandeto reportedly left without her body ahead of the planned burial ceremony.

According to relatives and close family friends, disagreements emerged at the last minute, forcing the family to postpone the transfer of the body from the morgue. Witnesses claimed tension rose after concerns were raised about the absence of Wandeto’s husband during the burial preparations.

Some mourners were heard saying “Bwana yake hakukuwa,” meaning her husband was not present, a situation that reportedly triggered confusion and emotional reactions among family members and friends gathered at the facility.

Sources close to the family indicated that cultural and family issues may have contributed to the delay. In many Kenyan communities, the presence and involvement of a spouse during funeral arrangements is considered important, especially when it comes to final decisions regarding burial plans.

The unexpected turn of events left mourners stranded for hours as they waited for communication from family representatives. Vehicles that had been arranged to transport the body reportedly remained parked outside the morgue as discussions continued behind closed doors.

Despite the tense situation, family members appealed for calm and privacy as they work toward resolving the matter. Some relatives expressed hope that the disagreements would be settled quickly so Wandeto can be given a dignified send-off.

The incident has sparked widespread discussion online, with many Kenyans sharing mixed reactions about family disputes during funerals and the importance of unity during mourning periods.

By the time the family departed, no official communication had been issued regarding the new burial date or when the body would finally be released from the morgue.
