A cloud of tension culminated the vast East African atmosphere today after renowned Ugandan former Minister and sitting Member of Parliament was reported Missing in Kenya.
Bukigai County Member of Parliament David Wakikona was reported missing on Sunday 10th October, 2022 when he boarded Uber taxi from Kilimani area in Nairobi to City Centre.
Moments after he was found today, October 11th 2022 a Ugandan based newspaper identified as “The Monitor” placed a phone call to the Member of Parliament to inquire about his whereabouts and circumstances leading to his reported missing.
In the phone call the Member of Parliament divulged that he was at the Ugandan Parliament in Kampala but abruptly ended the call without giving any further information.
The Member of Parliament reportedly sounded joyful and relaxed in the phone call. He served as the State Minister Trade and Antiquities in the Government of the current Ugandan Head of State Yoweri Kaguta Museveni.
