Famous Kenyan rapper Octopizzo has made a humble plea to the president -elect William Ruto. In a brief video shared on social media, Octopizzo can be heard making a request to Ruto requesting him to decriminalise bhang. The musician is one of the most celebrated rappers in the country and has made the headlines on several occasions.
Dr William Ruto was earlier this week declared the president elect by the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) chairman Wafula Chebukati, however, the results of the presidential election has faced a string of controversies from the opponent side with Azimio La Umoja set to file a petition. However, it seems most Kenyans have moved on and ready to welcome the new era.
Singer Octopizzo has not been left behind as he makes a request to the president elect seeking him to legalise bhang. Cannabis is one of the many drugs that are illegal in the country, however, a section of Kenyans feel that the government should legalise bhang.
