The mother of Tanzanian music star Diamond Platnumz has attracted the attention of social media users with a recent post that she published on the internet. Mama Dangote took to her social media page where she shared a statement that seemed to be a response to some of her critics. The social media post attracted varied reactions from her followers who took to the comment section to express their varied opinions.
In the social media post in question, Mama Dangote had sent a sweet message to her husband Uncle Shamte. She did this while wishing him happy birthday. In her statement, Mama Dangote intentionally used sweet names while referring to Uncle Shamte. She called him the love of his life and her best friend.
“Leo kazaliwa rafiki yangu kipenzi Mume wangu.. Maisala Abdu Shamte…🧡 Nakutakia maisha marefu yenye baraka tele @uncle_shamte Baba muuza viwanja,” Mama Dangote’s social media post read.
The statement comes amid reports that the two had parted ways under unclear circumstances. The allegations were based on the fact that the two have not been seen in the public together as often as they used to. Neither of them has also shared videos or photos of them together online. This was unlike before when the two love birds would constantly shower each other with love messages on social media. The social media post therefore serves as proof that they are still dating.
The celebrity couple has also been on the spot on numerous occasions over the fact that Mama Dangote is way older than Uncle Shamte. A section of the netizens have claimed that it is inappropriate for a man to marry a woman who is way older than him.
