The Head of State Dr William Ruto has on Thursday, July 17 stormed the backyard of Hon Babu Owino in Embakasi East, Nairobi county.
Accompanied by several allies including MPs, local MCAs and other national leaders, the President has pulled a huge crowd of residents as he toured Soweto.
Reports indicate that the Commander-in-chief is expected to officiate the rehabilitation of Savannah -Stage 17 Bridge Road in Soweto.
The area MP, Hon Babu Owino was however not present during the event.
Hon Babu has been an active critic of the President and the broad-based government at large.
As seen in the livestream shared on President Ruto’s X handle, there was presence of many police officers in uniform.
Around, the President’s convoy, the police officers were actively watching around as they scanned through the crowd and ensuring no one gets too close to the Head of State and possibly breaching security.
