Celebrated Kenyan singer Tanasha Donna Oketch has broken her silence and responded to how a while back socialite Risper Faith accused her of refusing to pay for a BBL procedure that she did at a local clinic.
The accusations actually happened in 2021, when Risper Faith reached out to blogger Edgar Obare and exposed how Tanasha Donna had breached the contract that she had with Body By Design, which translated to her refusing to pay for the surgery.
At the time Risper Faith claimed that Tanasha Donna had an agreement with Body By Design to promote their business in exchange of the surgery, but sadly she did not honour the agreement.
Tanasha Donna’s response
According to Tanasha Donna however, what Risper Faith said then was nothing but falsehoods.
The Gere hit maker has now revealed that she simply did not walk into Body By Design, had her BBL, and then left without paying a dime.
Tanasha Donna has now revealed that it was Body By Design that approached her because they wanted to collaborate with her.
The deal was for the sassy singer to undergo the surgery, and then document her experience on her YouTube channel after she had healed.
According to Tanasha Donna however she was forced to shoot the videos when she was still on her healing journey, and therefore they did not come out well because she wa still in pain and could not sit well.
At the end however, her team decided not to release the footages because of how badly they would look to the public.
Tanasha Donna therefore did not simply refuse to honor the contract as Risper Faith had earlier claimed.
Trouble begins
According to Tanasha Donna, trouble began when the clinic told her that she had to pay for the BBL procedure since she allegedly did not do as they wanted.
According to the singer, Body By Design did her dirty because at first they told her to pay an estimate of Kshs 635,000 but this figure was raised to Kshs 815,000 due to unknown reasons.
Despite being overcharged, Tanasha Donna still paid the full Kshs 815,000 albeit in 3 installments.
This was after her team and the lawyers representing Body By Design finally reached an agreement after a long tussle.
