Rosemary Wambui, sister to Margaret Nduta reveals the means of transport her sister used from Nairobi to Ethiopia after missing flight at JKIA.

According to Wambui, her sister was to travel to Vietnam for a house help job and she was to be taken there by a local agency based in Nairobi.

After missing flight at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, Nduta was forced to travel by bus from Nairobi to Ethiopia.

 

According to Wambui the last time she spoke with Nduta, Nduta was complaining of feeling tired and having extreme headache that made her to look for painkillers.

Nduta was arrested at Ho Chi Minh City Airport in Vietnam while transiting to Laos with 2 Kg of cocaine.

After a series of investigations by the Vietnam’s government, Nduta was sentenced to death and she was set to be executed with painful injection to death few days ago.

The government through the Foreign Affairs Principal Secretary Korir Sing’Oei and other ambassadors in Thailand are negotiating for Nduta to be transported back to Kenya.

Many people were asking JKIA officials to be responsible for the victim traveled via JKIA but since her sister has made clarity JKIA officials should be ‘spared’.
