Veteran entertainer and communications guru Lorna Irungu was finally laid to rest on March 23, surrounded by close family.
She passed on at The Karen Hospital, Nairobi, while undergoing treatment for COVID19.
In a message to Lorna’s fans and friends, the family released a statement.
“THE FARNILY KNOWS THAT LORNA IS DEEPLY LOVED BY MANY AND ASKS FOR YOUR CONTINUE, PRAYERS AND REQUESTS PRIVACY DURING THIS DIFFICULT TIME BUT ALSO INFORMS THAT A PUBLIC VIRTUAL CELEBRATION OF HER LIFE WILL BE ORGANIZED AND DETAILS WILL BE COMMUNICATED SHORTLY. WE LOVED YOU LORNA BUT THE LORD LOVED YOU MORE.”

Lorna’s husband, Edwin Macharia mmoured her in a moving post.
HE TWEETED, “MY SKIES ARE MISSING THEIR NORTH STAR. I AM ADRIFT ?.”
Macharia was moved by the love Lorna received from various factions of the entertainment industry. More so from Dagoretti south MP John Kiarie a.k.a KJ.
