Popular Kenyan Mugithi musician Samidoh has officially unveiled his United States and United Kingdom tour, with performances lined up throughout August.
Announcing the tour on his social media platforms, the celebrated singer invited fans to join him for a series of shows across the two countries. He accompanied the announcement with the American proverb, “A large chair does not make a king,” a message that quickly drew attention from his followers.
The tour is expected to attract hundreds of Kenyan music lovers living abroad as Samidoh continues to expand his international audience.
According to the published schedule, Samidoh’s international tour begins on August 1 with a performance at Nduumo Experience 2.0 in Lowell, Massachusetts.
The event will mark the start of a busy month that will see the Mugithi star perform in several major cities across the United States before concluding in the United Kingdom.
After the opening show in Massachusetts, Samidoh is scheduled to perform at the Mugumo at 10 Years celebration in Rio Vista, California, on August 8.
He will then head to Seattle, Washington, for the Country Meets Mugithi event on August 15.
The following day, August 16, he is expected to entertain fans at the Mwago Festival in Portland, Oregon, before travelling to Dallas, Texas, for the Dallas Mugithi Experience on August 22.
The performances are expected to bring together members of the Kenyan diaspora and Mugithi enthusiasts from different parts of the United States.
The final stop on the tour will be in Kenilworth, United Kingdom, where Samidoh is scheduled to headline the Ngemi Cia UK event on August 29.
The performance will wrap up a month-long international tour spanning multiple cities and giving diaspora fans an opportunity to enjoy live Mugithi performances.
