Safaricom has announced the amount of money its customers inhabiting varied local and regional destinations will be charged every day for the highly coveted Fuliza service.
Addressing via Chief Executive Officer Peter Ndegwa today the 9th day of November 2023, Safaricom has divulged that its customers will be charged Ksh3 every day for Fuliza loans ranging between KSh101 and KSh499.
Safaricom has further notified its customers residing within the vast Kenyan borders that they will be charged a fee of KSh6 every day for Fuliza loans of between Ksh500 and Ksh1,000.
For Fuliza loans ranging between Ksh2,500 to Ksh70,000, the mobile service provider has divulged that customers will be entitled a daily charge of KSh25.
Safaricom Chief Executive Officer Mr Peter Ndegwa further promised the lower the charges imposed on Fuliza loan services in a strategic move fostered towards making the credit facility more affordable to customers.
“As a result of our desire to increase base size and make it more accessible, even while income has decreased, real disbursements have increased,” Peter Ndegwa, CEO of Safaricom stated.
