The President Hon William Samoei Ruto attended the Africa Energy Forum that was held at KICC, Nairobi Kenya and graced by the Cabinet Secretary for Energy and Petroleum Hon. Davis Chirchir.
During his address on fuel prices, the head of state sent a warning to the leaders to stop the attacks on the media because the Kenya Kwanza coalition government is embracing democracy. He also said that the media must embrace objectivity because going against the law on mass and media journalism won’t be accepted under his watch.
He revealed that the reports from the media created wrangles between two communities in Rwanda and he don’t want such a thing to happen in our republic.
He urged all the leaders to come together so that they can create peace because it is now time to forget their differences and focus on change through seeking the wisdom from the Lord. He made it clear that the clergy will continue fighting for peace.
