Radio presenter Muthoni Wa Kirumba has mourned the sudden and tragic death of her close friend, Dr. Susan Toto Touch, while raising serious concerns over the circumstances leading to her demise. In an emotional statement shared on Wednesday, July 16, Muthoni paid tribute to Susan, stating, “They will never have peace! RIP my friend Dr. Susan Toto Touch,” hinting at unresolved grievances surrounding the incident.

Dr. Susan Toto, who had been vocal about her mental health struggles, allegedly posted a disturbing message on Facebook shortly before her death.

In the post, which was later deleted, she described being forcibly injected and taken from her home by a group of nurses claiming to act on orders from her psychiatrist.

Susan alleged that she was denied the right to give consent, make a phone call, or even attend to her basic hygiene needs.

She said the incident was triggered by her online expression of grief over the loss of her mother.Susan further stated that her partner, identified as Alois, had authorized the gate access for the medical team, who entered her home unannounced.

She described being pinned down by two men and injected by two female nurses without proper medical assessment or legal procedures.

Her distressing account painted a picture of forced psychiatric admission and raised ethical concerns about the rights of patients with mental health conditions.

Muthoni’s statement and the late doctor’s post have sparked a growing online outcry, with many calling for a thorough investigation into the case.

Mental health advocates are urging for stricter protections for vulnerable patients and a transparent inquiry into Susan’s alleged mistreatment.
