Kennedy Rapudo

Businessman Kennedy Rapudo has addressed ongoing speculation about his marriage to socialite Amber Ray, firmly dismissing the idea of introducing a co-wife.

Speaking during a recent podcast interview with Alex Mwakideu, Rapudo weighed in on the recurring public debate around polygamy and modern relationships.

No plans for polygamy

Rapudo made it clear that expanding his marriage is not something he is considering, saying he is fully content in his relationship with Amber Ray, whom he has been with for four years.

“In my house, I don’t think that can happen. Amber Ray can handle me. I’m completely satisfied with her,” he said.

He added that relationships require intentional commitment, noting that if he ever felt the need to pursue someone else, he would rather end the relationship than attempt a polygamous setup.

Changing relationship dynamics

Rapudo also reflected on how relationship structures have evolved over time. He pointed out that while older generations often embraced polygamy within more rigid family systems, today’s relationships are marked by frequent separations and blended family arrangements.

According to him, formal polygamy is becoming less common among younger people.

“I don’t know much about polygamy. Our parents were mostly in such setups, but in this generation, I haven’t seen young people openly practising it. Maybe side relationships exist, but not officially,” he said.

His remarks come amid ongoing conversations about marriage, commitment, and shifting cultural norms in modern society.
